BlueCross has recently been certified by Operation Palmetto Employment (OPE) as one of South Carolina’s Palmetto Military Employers. These employers are known to actively hire and retain veterans and service members.
“I have been actively involved with the Operation Palmetto Employment committee since 2014. And from the beginning, felt this initiative was on the right track with making our state the most military-friendly state in the nation. OPE seeks to creatively make military talent connections with employers across the state, and BlueCross has been a close partner along the way. We have a significant military presence right in our backyard, and we continue make that a focus in our recruiting efforts. We are proud to have our organization recognized as a South Carolina Military Employer.” — Stephanie Pfeiffer, director of talent acquisition
