About the LiveLifeBlue awards program

We’re excited you’re interested in applying for a LiveLifeBlue award. Following are some answers to questions we get a lot about the program.

Who can win a LiveLifeBlue award?

The awards are open to large group employers (those with 51 or more employees) who have been BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina customers for at least 12 months.

When can groups apply?

Nominations are open for the 2023 award until Feb. 17, 2023.

Who can submit the application?

Any employee can nominate his or her company. We recommend having someone in a human resources or wellness role complete the application to ensure all necessary details are included.

When does BlueCross announce the winners?

We announce winners at the Summit in April. An official press release will follow.

What can my company do to win a LiveLifeBlue award?

There are many ways to support a healthy workplace. And creativity is always a bonus with the LiveLifeBlue awards committee. The most important thing is to look at all aspects of your employees’ health — supporting their physical, financial, social and professional well-being. Previous LifeLifeBlue winners are examples for other companies to follow.
